private yoga classes are the perfect way to commit to your health. offering a variety of types of yoga, you have the option of choosing which type of yoga you like (or blending them!) at a time that is convenient for you. gentle 1 on 1 guidance, tailored specifically to your body helps to support your alignment, strength and flexibility with each class. each private class is tailored to your individual yoga level.

  • hatha yoga: hatha yoga is a set of gentle preparatory poses (asana) that aim to achieve harmony and balance in the mind, body, and spirit. Pairing each asana with the breath and gentle guidance, focus is on correct alignment, improving strength, balance, organ and muscle tone, fitness and vitality.

  • vinyasa yoga: vinyasa yoga comprises a steady flow of beautifully healing yoga asana that also works to improve overall strength, balance and fitness. generally vinyasa practice moves from slower series of movement in order to warm and prepare the body, shifting into a faster paced practice with one breath to each asana. a wonderful, low impact workout for the whole body.

  • yin yoga: a moving meditation, yin yoga works on the deeper tissues of the ligament, tendons and fascia, significantly improving flexibility. passive yoga asana are held for longer periods of time, as the inhale brings in pure life force, and the exhale releases tension. developed from an understanding of taoist yoga, yin yoga focuses on the traditional chinese medicine meridians (energy lines) that run throughout the body, and correspond with major organs.

  • restorative yoga: wonderfully restoring, traditional passive hatha yoga asana, combined with breath and meditation to help rebalance mind and body. yoga props are used throughout the class of 6-8 asana, which are carefully curated to focus on a specific chakras to heal all levels of being. a perfect wind down from a busy day.

private yoga classes are available either in-person or via zoom. simply make a booking by clicking on the button below and you will receive an email confirming your booking time and date.

if you are booking your first in-person private yoga class, you will be advised of the address details accordingly.
